Born in Wakefield, Sarah Redgwick graduated with first class honours from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and completed her studies in the postgraduate Opera Course. The winner of the GSMD Gold Medal for singers, she was a Samling Artist, and has received awards from The Countess of Munster Trust, the Madeleine Finden Trust, the Sybil Tutton Trust and the Wingate Foundation.
Highlights in recent season include Mrs Morrell Silver Birch for Garsington Opera, Countess Almaviva in Dementia Friendly performances of Le nozze di Figaro for Scottish Opera and concerts with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. She also understudied the title role in Jenůfa for English National Opera. In the current season Sarah makes her debut with the Manchester Camerata for their Viennese New Year concerts.
