Benjamin Williamson performs in a Baroque Triple Bill for English Touring Opera
Benjamin Williamson performs in a Triple Bill of works by Purcell, Carissimi and Gesualdo for English Touring Opera. He will sing the role of the Spirit in Dido and Aeneas, and also appears as part of the ensemble in Jonas and I Will Not Speak. TheTriple Bill is directed by Bernadette Igilch, Seb Harcome and ETO's Artistic Director James Conway, and Jonathan Peter Kenny conducts.
The production opens on 12 October at the Hackney Empire, before an extensive UK tour.
In addition to the Triple Bill, and as part of the same tour, Benjamin will perform Bach's St. Matthew Passion.
