New Artist - Claire Wild
We are delighted to announce that soprano Claire Wild has joined our roster for general management.
Claire Wild attended the Royal Northern College of Music‚ sponsored by the Peter Moores Foundation and the Musicians Benevolent Fund. She won the Webster Booth Award‚ the James Oncken Song Prize and the Frost Brownson Award.
Recent performances include Zerlina (Opera North & Opera Holland Park); Frasquita‚ Alyeya From the House of the Dead and Gretel (Opera North); Pussycat The Owl and the Pussycat for ROH2 as part of the London 2012 Festival; The Girlfriend Dart's Love (a new opera by Kerry Andrew, Tête á Tête); a new Errollyn Wallen commission Yes! for ROH2; title role in Richard Ayres The Cricket Recovers & Cynthia Playing Away (Bregenz Festival); Potboy & Child Prodigy The Excursions of Mr Brouček (Opera North & Scottish Opera) and Quin Knight Crew (Glyndebourne).
Current highlights include the Frog in How the Whale Became, a new opera by Julian Phillips & Maths and Mozart (Royal Opera House) and a new opera Anon by Errollyn Wallen for Welsh National Opera.
