New Artist - Keel Watson
We are delighted to announce that acclaimed bass-baritone Keel Watson has joined our roster for general management. Keel studied singing and trombone at Trinity College of music from 1986 to 1990 with Elizabeth Hawes and Roger Brenner and is currently studying with Janice Chapman.
Recent highlights include Dosifey Khovanschina for Birmingham Opera Company; Oroveso Norma, Nourabad Les Pêcheurs de Perles and Caterpillar Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland for Opera Holland Park; Fasolt Der Ring des Nibelungen at the Teatro Massimo di Palermo; Commendatore Don Giovanni for Mid Wales Opera; King Seven Angels in a co-production between the Opera Group and the Birmingham Contemporary Music Group and Fiesco Simon Boccanegra for English Touring Opera.
Current engagements include the title role in Macbeth for English Pocket Opera at the Platform Theatre, Central Saint Martins; Il Re Aida and Caterpillar Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland for Opera Holland Park and Rossini Stabat Mater for Haslemere Musical Society.
