"This opera masterpiece requires exceptional performers to make it work and Julie Unwin (Anna) is the real deal. She has a velvet voice wrapped around a core of steel, and sails from her chest register up to her shinning top notes with ease. Unwin looks commanding on stage and her stamina is remarkable. She does not show a hint of strain in her demanding mad scene."
