Alison Kettlewell makes her debut with Scottish Opera

Alison Kettlewell makes her Scottish Opera debut as Madame Larina in their new production of Eugene Onegin. The production, that also features George the Horse, is directed by Oliver Mears and conducted by Stuart Stratford.

Performances take place from 27 April to 5 May, in Glasgow, before touring to Aberdeen, Inverness, Edinburgh and Belfast.

Alison Kettlewell and Keel Watson perform the Verdi Requiem with the Chichester Singers, conducted by Jonathan Willcocks.

The performance on 11 November takes place at Chichester Cathedral.

Defiant Requiem: Verdi at Terezín

The UK premiere of Defiant Requiem: Verdi at Terezín takes place at Durham Cathedral on Saturday 28 January. The concert tells the story of the courageous Jewish prisoners in the Theresienstadt Concentration Camp (Terezín) during World War II, who performed the Verdi Requiem while experiencing the depths of human degradation.

Defiant Requiem: Verdi at Terezín is a concert-drama that combines the magnificent music of Verdi with video testimony from survivors of the original Terezín chorus and footage from the 1944 Nazi propaganda film about Theresienstadt.

The concert will feature Gweneth Ann Rand, Alison Kettlewell, Philip Sheffield and Keel Watson, with the Durham Choral Society Orchestra, Durham University Orchestral Society, Durham Choral Society and University Chamber Choir, conducted by Murry Sidlin.

Alison Kettlewell performs Venus in Tannhäuser

Alison Kettlewell returns to Longborough Festival Opera as Venus in Tannhäuser. This new production is directed by Alan Privett and conducted by Anthouny Negus.

Performanes take place on 9, 11, 14, 16, 18 June 2016.

The last time Alison performed at Longborough was as Fricka and Waltraute in their accalimed performances of Der Ring des Nibelungen.

Alison Kettlewell sings in two performances of the Verdi Requiem, in Salisbury Cathedral and G Live, Guildford with the combined choir of Salisbury Musical Society and Guildford Choral Society.

Alison Kettlewell performs world premiere in Truro Cathedral

Alison Kettlewell performs the world premiere of A Different Child, a Cantata by Russell Pascoe. It tells of Christ's nativity and childhood as it is portrayed in the Apocryphal Infancy Gospels. 

The performance, with the St Mary's Singers, takes place at Truro Cathedral on Saturday 17 October. Alison is joined by soprano Gillian Keith and baritone Darren Jeffrey.
