A trio of artists perform in WNO's Roberto Devereux

Robyn Lyn Evans, Wyn Pencarreg and Philip Smith perform in Welsh National Opera's production of Roberto Devereux, directed by Alessandro Talevi and conducted by Carlo Rizzi and James Southall.

Robyn performs Lord Cecil, while understudying the title role, Wyn performs Sir Gualtiero Raleigh, and Philip makes his WNO debut as Nottingham's Confidant, while understudying Raleigh.

Performances take place from 28 February at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff, before touring until 10 May.

Philip Smith performs Giorgio Germont in La traviata for Devon Opera, directed by Rachael Hewer and conducted by Jonathan Pease.

Performances take place at The Barnfield Theatre, Exeter on 22 November and The Great Hall, Dartington on 24 November.

Philip Smith performs Don Giovanni for Celebrate Voice

Philip Smith performs the title role in Don Giovanni for the Celebrate Voice Festival in Salisbury. The production is directed by Richard Studer and conducted by Phillip Thomas.

Performances take place at the Medieval Hall, Salisbury on 26, 28, 30 October, 2 November.

Philip Smith makes his debut at the Three Choirs Festival

Philip Smith makes his debut at the Three Choirs Festival in a perfrmance of Cecilia McDowall's Stabat Mater. The morning concert with the Three Chorirs Festival Youth Choir and the English Symphony Orchestra is conducted by Peter Nardone, and takes place at Hereford Cathedral on 4 August.

Anthony Flaum and Philip Smith perform in Madame Butterfly

Anthony Flaum and Philip Smith perform Pinkerton and Sharpless in Madame Butterfly for Iford Arts, the final opera production to be performed in their current home at Iford Manor. The new production is directed by Bruno Ravella and conducted by Thomas Blunt.

Anthony last performed at Iford as Rodolfo in La bohème and Philip as Figaro in The Barber of Seville, both in the 2017 season.

Performances of Madam Butterfly take place on 21, 24, 26, 28, 31 July, 2, 4, August.
