Nazan Fikret performs in Orfeo ed Euridice at Longborough

Nazan Fikret performs Euridice in Orfeo ed Euridice for Longborough Festival Opera. This new production is conducted by Jeremy Silver and directed by Maria Jagusz. 

Performances take place at Lonborough from 29 July to 1 August and at King's College London's Greenwood Theatre on 4 August.

Next season season Nazan will perform Arasse in Siroe, re di Persia for the Nederlandse Reisopera.

Nazan Fikret performs at the Rota das Artes Festival

Nazan Fikret performs The Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflöte for Rota das Artes in Lisbon. The production is conducted by Massimo Spadano with puppetry by Arne Högsander.

Performances take place on 8 & 9 October at the Museu Nacional de História Natural e da Ciência.

Nazan Fikret performs at Longborough Festival Opera

Nazan Fikret performs the role of Karolka in Longborough Festival Opera's new production of Janáček's Jenůfa. The production is directed by Richard Studer and conducted by Jonathan Lyness.

Performances take place on 16, 19, 21, 23 July.

New Artist - Nazan Fikret

We are delighted to announce that soprano Nazan Fikret has joined our roster for general management. Nazan studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama under Penelope Mackay and Yvonne Kenny. She is a 2015 Making Music AYCA Winner and recipient of the 2015/16 International Opera Awards Bursary.

Highlights in recent seasons include Fiordiligi Così fan tutte (Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra / European Opera Centre), How the Whale Became (Julian Philips) at the Linbury Theatre at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, Governess The Turn of the Screw in Norfolk and contemporary opera scenes for Aldeburgh Music’s Jerwood Scheme. Additionally, Nazan had covered the Queen of the Night The Magic Flute and Wendy in the UK première of Peter Pan by Richard Ayres, both for Welsh National Opera.

In the current season Nazan returns to Welsh National Opera to cover the role of Angelica Figaro gets a Divorce by Elena Langer and performs Karolka Jenůfa for Longborough Festival Opera and Judge Hogg Why should I give up my fun? by Susie Self at the Musictheatertage Festival, Vienna.
