Reviews

Dr Bartolo / The Barber of Seville / Ulster Touring Opera / 2023
“Doctor Bartolo, magnificently rendered by Wyn Pencarreg…”
(Opera Now)

“Wyn Pencarreg and Lorena Paz Nieto were both terrific in the roles of Bartolo and Berta respectively. Pencarreg brought the lecherous but hopelessly out-manoeuvred Bartolo to life, and he negotiated Rossini’s rapid-fire coloratura with brio.”
(Seen & Heard International)

Alcindoro / La bohème / Royal Opera House / 2022
“Jeremy White and Wyn Pencarreg squeeze all available juice out of opera’s two most put-upon seniors, Benoit and Alcindoro.”
(The Stage)

“Wyn Pencarreg offers a full voice with great presence as Alcindoro…”
(Olyrix)

Sir Gualtiero Raleigh / Roberto Devereux / Welsh National Opera / 2019
“Wyn Pencarreg was a dignified Raleigh…”
(Opera)
