Philip Smith makes his role debut in Verdi's Falstaff

Philip Smith makes his role debut as Ford in Verdi's final opera and comic masterpiece, Falstaff, with Black Cat Opera, with whom he performed Don Giovanni last season and Escamillo in excerpts from Carmen with Andover Choral Society.

The performances of Falstaff come ahead of Philip's house debut as Endymion/Charon in Rossi's Orpheus for the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, in a new production directed by Keith Warner, conducted by Christian Currnyn.

Performances of Falstaff take place at the Camberly Theatre from 12 August, for further details visit the Black Cat Opera website.
