Harry Nicoll perfoms in the world premiere of Coraline

Harry Nicoll perfoms Mr Bobo / Ghost Child 2 in the world premiere of Coraline by Mark-Anthony Turnage, for The Royal Opera at the Barbican. This new production is directed by Aletta Colins and conducted by Sian Edwards, with the Britten Sinfonia.

Performances take place on 27, 29, 31(x2) March and 3, 4, 5, 7(x2) April.

Ailish Tynan makes her recital debut in Stockholm

Ailish Tynan makes her Swedish recital debut at the Konserthuset Stockholm on Wednesday 7 March, with pianist Magnus Svensson.

Her programme includes works by Judith Weir, Judith Bingham, Aaron Copland, Samuel Barber and Herbert Hughes.

Following this, on 11 March, at the University of Sheffield, she will perform a recital with Simon Lepper - The Short Straw, a programme of Nursery rhymes, fairy tales and fables... for grown ups!

Robyn Lyn Evans performs Lensky for Mid Wales Opera

Robyn Lyn Evans performs Lensky in  a new production of Eugene Onegin for Mid Wales Opera, directed by, Richard Studer and conducted by Jonathan Lyness, with Ensemble Cymru.

The first performance takes place on 24 February in The Hafren in Newtown, before touring until 10 April.

All the World's a Stage at Wigmore Hall

Ailish Tynan performs at Wigmore Hall on 23 February, in a programme which explores the different stages of life. She is joined by Anna Huntley, Ilker Arcayürek, Stephan Loges, and actor, Fehinti Balogun, accompanied by Graham Johnson.

The varied programme includes the world premiere of The Seven Ages of Man by the outstanding British composer Joseph Phibbs.

Ahead of the concert, on Tuesday 20 February, Ailish will perform live on BBC Radio 3's In Tune programme.

Philip Sheffield makes his debut at the Opéra de Monte-Carlo

Philip Sheffield makes his debut with the Opéra de Monte-Carlo as Rev. Horace Adams in Peter Grimes, directed by, and featuring in the title role, José Cura, and conducted by Jan Latham-Koenig.

The premiere takes place on 20 February, with futher performances on 23, 25 and 28 February.

Later this season Philip makes his debuts at the Teatro la Fenice and with Opera Zuid.

Llio Evans is away with the Fairies in her ENO debut!

Llio Evans makes her debut with English National Opera as Celia in their new production of Gilbert and Sullivan's comic operetta Iolanthe.

The lavish new production, directed by Cal McCrystal and conducted by Timothy Henty, premieres on 13 February, with further performances until 7 April.

Jeni Bern makes her debut at the Teatro Real

Jeni Bern makes her debut at the Teatro Real as Greta Fiorentino in Kurt Weill's Street Scene

The new production, directed by John Fulljames and conducted by Timothy Murray, premieres on 13 February, with performances through the season until 1 June.

The performance on 16 February, will be broadcast live on Mezzo Live HD.

Wyn Pencarreg makes his debut with Welsh National Opera as Alcade in David Pountney's new production of La forza del destino, conducted by Carlo Rizzi.

The premiere takes place on 2 February at the Wales Millennium Centre, before touring until 21 April.

Ailish Tynan joins the Manchester Camerata for the Mozart Requiem with performances in Manchester and Sheffield, conducted by Gábor Takács-Nagy and Jean-Claude Picard respectively.

Nazan Fikret performs in Hasse's Siroe

Nazan Fikret perform's Arasse in Hasse's opera seria, Siroe, re di Persia, for the Nederlandse Reisopera. The production, directed by Jakob Peters-Messer and conducted by George Petrou, is a co-production with the Oldenburgisches Staatstheater.

The premiere takes place on 26 January at the Wilminktheater in Enschede before touring The Netherlands hrough February.

Nazan last performed for the Reisopera as Flora The Turn of the Screw in 2006.

LIio Evans in BBC Broadcast of The Golden Dragon

Earlier this season Llio Evans perfomed The Little One in Music Theatre Wales' acclaimed production of The Golden Dragon by Peter Eötvös. The performance on 3rd October 2017 at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre was recorded and will be broadcast by the BBC Radio 3 on 27 January 2018.

Sarah Redgwick performs with the Manchaster Camerata

Sarah Redgwick performs in Viennese New Year Concerts in her debut with the Manchester Camerata. The concerts take place of 1 January at Bridgewater Hall, and 6 January for the Lakeland Sinfonia Concert Society in Kendall.

The concerts are conducted by Christian Kluxen, with a programme of New Year favourites by Johan Strauss, Lehár and Korngold.

Jeni Bern performs Viennese Whirl with Opera North

Jeni Bern performs in a series of Viennese Whirl concerts with the Orchestra of Opera North, conducted by Justin Brown. She will perform arias from Die Fledermaus, Wiener Blut and Der Vogelhändler.

The concerts take place from 29-31 December, in Hull, Huddersfield and Leeds.
