Gweneth Ann Rand makes her debut at English National Opera in the title role in Verdi's Aida. This new production is directed by Phelim McDermott and conducted by Keri-Lynn Wilson.

Performances take place at the London Coliseum on 29 November and 2 December.

Ailish Tynan returns to the airwaves to present Saturday Classics on BBC Radio 3. In the first of two broadcasts, on 25 November, she shares some of her favourite moments in opera, including music by Handel, Mozart, Humperdinck, Wagner, Richard Strauss, Janáček and Britten.

Ailish, will also present the programme on 9 December.

Anthony Flaum performs Lensky in a new production of Eugene Onegin for OperaUpClose at the Arcola Theatre. This new chamber version, performed in a new English translation by Robin Norton-Hale, is directed by Lucy Bradley and conducted by Sonia Ben Santamaria. 

Performances take place from 22 November to 23 December.

Gweneth Ann Rand and Njabulo Madlala perform scenes from Gershwin's Porgy & Bess  with the State Symphony Orchestra 'Novaya Rossiya' and State Academic Coral Cappella, conducted by Michael Chertock.

The performance takes place on 21 November at the Moscow International Performing Arts Center. 

Harry Nicoll perfoms Sellem in The Rakes Progress for OperaGlass Works at Wilton's Music Hall. This new production is directed by Selena Cadell and conducted by Laurence Cummings, with the Southbank Sinfonia.

Performances take place on 17, 18, 20, 22, 24, 25 November.

Llio Evans performs her first Mahler Symphony No. 2 with the Bath Symphony Orchestra and Bristol Choral Society, conducted by Eugene Monteith.

The concert takes place at The Forum, Bath on 11 November.

Alison Kettlewell and Keel Watson perform the Verdi Requiem with the Chichester Singers, conducted by Jonathan Willcocks.

The performance on 11 November takes place at Chichester Cathedral.

Olivia Ray performs the Mozart Requiem with Harpenden Choral Society and the King's Sinfonietta, conducted by John Andrews.

Robyn Lyn Evans joins Opra Cymru as Ifan Powel in Wythnos yng Nghymru Fydd a new opera by Gareth Glyn and Mererid Hopwood that is written predominatly in Welsh. The production is conducted by Iwan Teifion Davies and directed by Patrick Young.

The premiere on 10 November will take place at Pontio, Bangor before touring venues across Wales. 

Llio Evans makes her debut with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales in Janáček's Danube, conducted by Otto Tausk.

The concert takes place at Hodinott Hall on 3 November.

Ailish Tynan sings Vaughan Williams Dona nobis pacem on the latest CD release by King's College, Cambridge. Conducted by Stephen Cleobury the recording features the Britten Sinfonia and Choir of King's College, Cambridge.
